- For support before, during, and/or after euthanasia
- As support for discussions with children

Confidential consultation and short-term grief counseling services with a licensed mental health provider are available at no cost to Veterinary Teaching Hospital clients. Clients may receive confidential short-term grief counseling (up to five 60-minute sessions) free of charge. You may ask your veterinary team for a referral, or you may contact the veterinary social worker directly by email at email@example.com or by phone at 540-231-5977.
