The college's Veterinary Teaching Hospital on the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg, Va. is comprised of two hospitals — the Small Animal Hospital and the Harry T. Peters Large Animal Hospital. Each hospital provides primary and specialized medical care to animals residing in the Blacksburg area and referred by practitioners in the region.
Virginia Tech Animal Laboratory Services (ViTALS) is a full-service veterinary diagnostic laboratory offering a wide variety of specimen analysis for our Veterinary Teaching Hospital clinicians, referring veterinarians, biomedical researchers, and pet owners and farmers in our practice area.
Virginia Tech’s Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center is a full-service equine hospital located in Leesburg, Virginia, that provides advanced specialty care, 24-hour emergency treatment, and diagnostic services for all ages and breeds of horses.
The Roanoke, Va. Satellite Referral Center is an extension of the VA-MD Vet Med Veterinary Teaching Hospital, which offers a convenient second location for small animal specialty referral services.
