Residency Training Programs and Graduate Programs

Residency training programs in equine internal medicine and surgery are offered by the Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center. These residency programs are fully approved by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and the American College of Veterinary Surgery.

Veterinarians in residency training programs participate in a graduate training program leading to a degree of Masters of Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences. A wide range of courses are available through several campuses. Graduate programs leading to the Ph.D. degree are also offered.

Equine Neonatology Internship

The center is pleased to offer a partial year internship in equine neonatology. Two internship positions will be available. Internship applicants must have a DVM or equivalent veterinary medical degree. Preference may be given to individuals with special equine veterinary experience or credentials.

Review of applications will begin immediately, and continue until the positions are filled. Starting dates from January 1, 2013 to March 1, 2013 will be considered, and the internship will conclude on June 30, 2013. Learn more
