Camelids, particularly alpacas, are an expanding component of the animal population in the local area and nearby states. Clinicians and technicians in the Large Animal Medicine and Large Animal Surgery services are experienced in the treatment and care of crias and adults. Complete emergency and intensive care services and facilities are available on a 24-hour basis.
