Veterinary Students as One In Culture and Ethnicity (VOICE)
About VOICE
The
VMRCVM chapter of Veterinary Students as One In Culture and Ethnicity (VOICE), founded in September 2010, is a student-run
organization that addresses a need for sociocultural awareness that is not part of the current core veterinary curriculum. We
are an organized and unified student voice contributing to enhancing the diversity of the profession and the cultural
competence of veterinary students.
Our Mission
- To celebrate cultural and ethnic diversity in the veterinary community
- To promote a culture of tolerance and awareness
- To provide education and outreach
- To address sociocultural issues within the profession and our communities
