OTS Events

Hello all!

The most important thing about OTS is our members. We have great people who do wonderful things; they make sure that, despite the demands of vet school, they give something back to the community that gives us so much and they take time out for fun, too.

Our past and current service activities include:

Fall

• Pet Loss Hotline - Run entirely by trained veterinary students, the hotline is available twice a week from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Call: (540) 231-8038
• Prison Puppies or “Pups on Parole”
• Fall Food Drive
• Fall Blood Drive
• Remote Area Veterinary Services Trips
• Adoptathon
• New Member Night
• Walk-a-Dog-a-Thon with the Blacksburg Lions Club to benefit Leader Dogs for the Blind

• Service Dog of the Year Award

• Spring Blood Drive
• Spay/Neuter Program donations
• OTS Scholarship
