FAPC Spring 2013 Schedule

Welcome!

- General meetings are the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30PM in Room 102. Food is provided.

- Rounds are held on the other Tuesdays at 5:00PM in Room 102.

SPRING EVENTS:

-Jan 26 – VA Beef Cattle Health Conference – at the Vet school and Alphin Stuart Arena. This is a great event where our clinicians teach producers about advancements in health protocols etc. There are also labs in the afternoon as well which will be great hands on experiences.

-Feb 4 – Calving Watch in PMM at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital!

-Feb 5 – first FAPC meeting at 5:30 pm in rm 102

-Feb 22 – Alpaca neonatal seminar

-Feb 23 – Kids Tech University-- we run a station that teaches kids about food animal medicine. Volunteer point opportunity

-March 1 and 2 – VVMA Conference in Roanoke

-March 1 – Zoetis sponsored dinner for FAPC students and clinicians who are attending the VVMA Conference.

-March 5 – FAPC meeting

-March 9 – AI short course

-March 21-23 – SAVMA symposium at LSU

-April 2 – FAPC meeting

-April 6 – VMRCVM Open House-- Volunteer point opportunity

-April 7 – Embryo Transfer wetlab

-April 27 – Cornhole tournament and end of year social at Wall's Dairy!
