About CVF

CVF is a part of Christian Veterinary Mission, which serves God through mission work in developing countries. There are opportunities for short-term mission trips to areas such as Africa, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and Asia.

CVM Mission Statement:

CVM's mission is to challenge, empower, and facilitate veterinarians to serve others through their profession, living out their Christian faith. CVM also provides education and encouragement for those who desire to minister through service, prayer, relationship building, and modeling Christ's love.

CVF at VMRCVM's mission is to meet the challenges and responsibilities that come with being both Christians and future veterinarians. Our group has weekly Bible study meetings, potlucks, and recreational activities throughout the semester. We provide support for organizations such as Operation Christmas Child and impoverished children living in third world countries. We currently have plans to create a website for CVF at VMRCVM and we are looking into the possibility of future fundraisers in order to utilize funds for other desired opportunities to help others in need. Prayer is fundamental for CVF members in that we have created prayer lists to include the needs/prayers of fellow classmates and faculty members.
