Continuing Education Update
Plans for the fall conference, Connect 2020, have shifted virtually.
We will now be hosting three separate CE conferences (Small Animal, Large Animal, and Public Health/Wellness) over the next six months.
The first, which will be the Small Animal Conference, will be held Oct. 5-8. A Public Health/Wellness CE will follow in November, and the Large Animal CE will be held during its traditional timeframe in January.
We will be working individually with each reunion class (years '85, '90, '95, '00, '05, '10, and '15) to create a virtual reunion event specific to each class. Each event will be as personalized and as special as possible, including slideshows and themes (e.g., game night, happy hour, etc.), if class members wish.
All reunion classes will be invited to attend next year's in-person events (fingers crossed) for a special focus on your class. Consider it a yearlong-plus party!

Welcome Notes from Alumni to Students
Over the past two years, we have been collecting handwritten notes from alumni to be placed in the White Coat pockets of the incoming first-year DVM class at its "White Coat Ceremony." This year, unfortunately, an in-person ceremony will not be held, so we are collecting virtual notes.
From alumni to students of ALL degree programs, please consider writing a message to welcome a student to the VMCVM and the professions of public health and veterinary medicine. We cannot think of a better way to be welcomed into our professions than a personal note and positive message from an alumnus of the college. Feel free to leave your name and contact information as well, if you like!
