Fifth Annual Dog Walk Against Cancer

Each year, members of the
community come together to raise funds for supporting the research programs at CeCO.
Money that is raised goes directly to pay for Student Cancer Research Fellowships.
Last year those funds supported 7 students. Working with faculty mentors, these students studied
malignant lymphoma and brain tumors in dogs, melanoma in horses, and helped develop advanced methods
for diagnosing cancer in all species.
Due to scheduling conflicts, the 2008 Annual Dog Walk Against Cancer will be held in the Fall. Details will be posted as they become available.
"Everyone is welcome to participate.
We ask that:
- People and pet friendly dogs participate!
- All dogs should be up-to-date on current vaccinations
- All dogs are kept leashed at all times and under control by their walkers
- You understand how important you and your dog are in our fight against cancer
