Video Production
Video production is available in Mini DV and Digital 8mm formats. Digital Editing makes it possible to transfer
analog video to digital format for editing on the computer. These Quick Time videos are used to create DVD,
Digital 8MM, Mini DV and VHS videotapes as well as .mov, .avi and .mdv clips for embedding in PowerPoint
presentations. Bulk production of DVDs with printed labels is available.
Shooting video requires several days advanced notice to allow time for scheduling personnel and equipment. Storyboards are available from the Media Center for preplanning visuals and scripting.
Video editing can be scheduled with Don Massie and you can receive instruction from Don for operating
the equipment if you prefer to do your own editing. Computers for video editing are available in the Faculty
Development Lab .
