USDA, ARS	BARC, Livestock & Poultry Science Inst	Beltsville, MD	Research to improve the efficiency of feedstuff conversion by dairy and beef cattle and sheep; examine growth parameters, endocrine and nutritional regulators, immune system interaction, rumen fermentation, and energy metabolism.
