Brief Bio

Bacteriophages intrigue me. My interests extend from structural and genetic studies to the practical applications of phage research, such as my current research project. When I’m not at the lab my time is spent reading, hiking, and playing odd board games.

Research Project Involvement

  • Bacteriophage-based bioremediation of foodborne Salmonella, examining whether purified phage lysis proteins are an effective control of Salmonella in raw and ready to eat poultry products.
