Brief Bio

Dr. Larson received her BS in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech in 2004 and her DVM from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She also completed an equine and camelid internship at a large private practice near College Station, TX. Her clinical interests include camelid medicine, neonatology, wound management and reproduction.

Dr. Larson became a horse owner in 1994 and currently owns a thoroughbred mare named Sierra. She is a former member of Pony Club and used to participate in local hunter jumper and combined training events. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at the barn, taking her corgi, Cassie, for walks around town, and reading.
