Brief Bio

My interest for my Ph.D. program is to investigate the mechanism of pathogenic viral infection and diseases and the host immune responses in the pathogenesis of viral diseases, and to design more immunogenic and efficacious vaccines using virus vectors or gene delivery systems to enhance the host immune responses and further study the virus-host interaction.

Research Project Involvement

Effects of probiotics on innate and adaptive immunity to rotavirus infection and vaccines in the gnotobiotic pig model of human rotavirus infection and disease.
Study the innate and adaptive immune responses to noroviruses to facilitate vaccine development.
