Our Veterinarians & Staff
The Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center is staffed by a highly skilled team of dedicated veterinarians,
nurses and technicians. This team includes six board certified surgeons, three board certified internal medicine
clinicians, one board certified anesthesiologist, six residents, and three interns. In addition, fourth year
veterinary students from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine rotate through the
hospital for three to six weeks of specialized training in equine medicine and surgery. Our staff of more
than 100 includes licensed veterinary technicians as well as specialized pharmacy, imaging, laboratory,
operating room, anesthesia and nursing professionals.
