Dr. Emma Dickey received her bachelor of veterinary medicine and surgery from University of Glasgow Veterinary School, United Kingdom, where she graduated with honours in 2003. She participated in an internship program at Troytown Equine Hospital, Kildare, Ireland, where she logged in excess of four hundred general anesthetics as sole anaesthetist on a varied anaesthetic caseload for surgical procedures, including neonates, August 2003 - July 2005. She was employed at Larkhill Veterinary Practice, Perth, Western Australia, August-December, 2005. She also did an externship at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Scone Veterinary Hospital, Australia, at which time she worked with Dr. Kevin Corley. Dr. Dickey began her equine medicine residency program on July 1, 2006.
