2009-10 Tuesday Talks Series

The Tuesday Talks series of lectures is designed to provide veterinarians, horse owners, and horse professionals with valuable insight and practical advice related to a wide array of equine health care topics.

All Tuesday Talk lectures will be held at 7 p.m. in the Equine Medical Center’s library. No fee is charged for attending but seating is limited and pre-registration is required. To register, e-mail Amy Troppmann or call (703) 771-6843.

January 12, 2010: “Endocrine Disease in the Horse: Cushings and Insulin Resistance”
Presented by Dr. Martin Furr, Ph.D., DACVIM, Professor and Adelaide C. Riggs Chair in Internal Medicine, Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center.

February 9, 2010: “Lameness Diagnosis Panel”

March 9, 2010: “Diagnosis and Treatment of Upper Airway and Sinus Disorders”
