Lymphatic System and Other Organs

OBJECTIVES FOR THIS EXERCISE: After completing the laboratory exercises of the lymphatic system, you should be able to:

• Identify different lymphatic organs in microscopic sections
• Distinguish between diffuse and nodular lymphatic tissue
• Identify germinal centers in sections
• Identify red and white pulp in sections of spleen and explain their nature
• Recognize lymphocytes in blood and lymphatic circulation
