Due to COVID-19, Connect 2020 will be a completely virtual event. Programming has been adjusted, and updated details are below.

Program Updates

Mentor Program

As we continue to navigate through these changing times, we believe that an in-person gathering for this year's mentor program would not be prudent. Because we want to continue to build on our momentum and to move forward, we will ask our students to connect virtually with their mentor(s).

Students who make their connection with their mentor in person or virtually will be entered into drawings for e-gift cards.

In the meantime, we have contacted the VA-MD Vet Med Class of 2024. As soon as we have heard back from all the students, we can proceed to match the students with the mentors. We hope that the matching will be completed by mid-September.

Sign up to become a mentor.

Career Fair

Academic Affairs is hosting a separate, virtual career fair using the Brazen platform on Sept. 18-19.

For more information, please contact Megan Dickhans.

College Celebration

Continuing Education

Three separate continuing education events will be offered virtually over the next six months:

Four credits in four separate tracks:

Awards Presentation

The following awards will be presented virtually (date TBD):

  • Outstanding Recent Alumni Award
  • Lifetime Achievement Alumni Award
  • Faculty Award

Reunion Events

We will be working individually with each reunion class (years ’85, ’90, ’95, ’00, ’05, ’10, and ’15) to create a virtual reunion event specific to each class. Each event will be as personalized and as special as possible, including slideshows and themes (e.g., game night, happy hour, etc.), if class members wish.

All reunion classes will be invited to attend next year’s in-person events (fingers crossed) for a special focus on your class. Consider it a yearlong-plus party!

More information will be forthcoming as the event date approaches. In the interim, please contact us with your questions.
