Applying to the Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences (BMVS) Graduate Program

To apply for admission to the BMVS Graduate Program, you must fill out an application on the Virginia Tech Graduate School web site.

You must have official TOEFL scores (for international students) and GRE scores sent to the Virginia Tech Graduate School (when taking test use College Code 00589) before steps to acceptance can be taken.

Steps to Graduate Program Acceptance

  1. The Graduate Affairs Committee reviews the application and decides on acceptance.
  2. Attempts are made to identify an Advisor. If no Advisor can be identified, you can not enter the program.
  3. After Advisor identification, all efforts will be made to identify a stipend, either through college resources or grant monies.
