DVM Admission Counseling

Individual admission counseling sessions are accommodated on request. The sessions include:

  • A review of application requirements and process
  • A discussion of what it takes to be a highly qualified applicant

For Maryland area residents, counseling sessions are also held on the University of Maryland campus.

Veterinary Medical College Application Service (VMCAS)

The Veterinary Medical College Application Service (VMCAS) is a centralized application program for participating veterinary medical colleges. The Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC) launched VMCAS in 1995.

All applicants applying to the VA-MD Vet Med DVM program must apply through VMCAS.
